What are some the favorite student activities on campus?
Student Activities offer a wide variety of social, cultural, and educational programs throughout the academic year. Of course, being Unity students, most love being outdoors – exploring woodlands on and around campus, canoeing or kayaking on Unity Pond, snowshoeing and cross country skiing our many trails in the winter. A favorite indoor activity is hanging out at the Student Activities Center (SAC). There is almost always something going on there.
The Student Activities office coordinates a wide variety of social, cultural, and educational programs throughout the academic year, including a Wednesday night coffeehouse series and other live music performances; weekend programs (movie nights, crafts, karaoke, and video/board gaming, for example); and day trips. Students can get involved with the Student Government Association, take part in one of our clubs, or start their own based on their interests. Annual campus traditions include Community Carnival (club night), Apple Fest, Student Appreciation week, Earth Day celebrations and Roots Week (a week of events celebrating cultural diversity).
