What are some teen-ager fads in fashion, activities, language, etc.?
Tynan: Something I’ve noticed — it’s really actually a neat idea — we have books between friends, like journals, and you write back and forth in them between classes. It’s a really good way to keep in touch with your friends and see what’s going on in their lives if you never get to see them. Another thing I think is pretty cool is coming to high school and they (students) have a few (alternative) bands. I’m going to go listen to them perform and cheer them on. Romero: All sports are a part of activities. But the fashion is basically whatever you want to wear. It’s not anymore like baggy stuff or all that, it’s whatever you want to wear. Walston: I think one thing that is really neat is in student activities, you always come together. People … you always thought were stand-offish you could never get to know them, student activities kind of brings everybody together. It bonds them.
