What are some symptoms of impulse control disorder please?
This is a horrible disorder. The individual has no boundaries and will jump in a flash without thinking into any situation. Would you start a fight because a guy looked at your girl? Would you run to evade police and then when caught make up a story. Would you demand a court trial, even though a plea bargain down to a misdemeanor was set up, and instead get a felony. If you are with such a person, you really feel like tearing our your hair. Can you imagine fighting with the police, fighting with a friend, roughing up an old man for money, driving 70 miles because a girlfriend went alone to a movie, losing money at gambling. Symptoms, are just words and lists of possibilities available through DSM IV, but the real experience is horrendous. You can find more sites with information. Probably drugs or alcohol are abused as well. And gambling, what nut gambles everything repeatedly, gets angry and violent, abusive, hollering?
