What are some suggestions for organizing my charm collection?

I’ve gone in circles on this question myself. Currently I have all of my charms organized in a variety of ways. One group I keep in their original capsules even though I wish they could be with the other charms I keep loose. I keep all of my vintage rubber creatures together away from all the styrene plastic ones (see the sections on polyethylene capsules and ‘the rubber stuff’ for why). But lately I’ve been thinking that I might put all of my one of kind favorites together and sell the rest of my collection.
