I am trying out for a musical this winter, and i have also sung “Part of your World” for an audition for Annie, the last musical i was in. Nice choice! But this year i am trying out for beauty and the beast, and I am going to sing “a dream is a wish your heart makes” from Cinderella. It is supposed to show off a soprano voice well. Another good choice is “Home” or “A change in me” from Beauty and the Beast. “On the street where you live” from My Fair Lady is a lovely song, but it is difficult to sing because it is originally a man’s song. There are also lots of Celtic Woman songs such as “The Prayer” and “The Blessing” they also sing “Somewhere over the rainbow” and many other songs. They sing lots of sweet songs from musicals.
