What are some stereotypes about IUB students?
I think many of the stereotypes are brought on by the Greek lifestyle that perpetuates our campus. There is a large Greek community on campus and I think many times those are the ones who receive so much attention. I also think there is a stereotype on how basketball oriented the campus is as a whole when there are people who could care less about basketball and instead are interested in a wide variety of other things. I think it’s easy to assume we all attend the basketball games and we all never miss a game on TV when it’s really not completely true.
