What are some social problems the inhabitants of Portugal islands face?
homelessness: Well, I think here, like in all other places, there are homeless people, but not as much as in other places. Hunger: As I know, there are people that don’t have as much as others, but I don’t think here are people dying of hunger. Education: In my opinion, education isn’t really good, but that all over Portugal, and as I know, here in Madeira education is even better as in other places. You here of bad fights (even teacher/student) in Portugal (Continent) but you don’t hear it a lot at Madeira. Electricity: Hydro power and Wind power Water quality: Not bad at all 😀 Medical Care: As I hear from people that live now here and are from Portugal-Continental, here it’s better. So, I think live at the island Madeira is better as at Portugal-Continental, but of course there are also benefits if you live there and not here. All the economic crises that Portugal lives, isn’t really present here. We have a good economic help: Tourism.
