What are some small breeds of dog with friendly dispositions?
The breed doesn’t matter, you just need to make sure you get a well socialised pup and continue on with its training. I have a Yorkie and he is an angel who loves everyone and all dogs he meets. We bought him from a family who had kids and who had kept him in the house, so he was already used to all kinds of people when we got him. We introduced him to all our friends, encouraged people in the street to say hello and took him to meet lots of dogs and took puppy classes. As for being yappy, you can train a dog not to bark and keeping them well exercised will make them too tired to be bothered to yap all day!
