A new trend among young people is having pharming parties. People get together at a party and exchange prescription medications and get high on either one or multiple types of medications. Medications that appear at these types of parties are various types of stimulants, narcotics, and depressants. Some of the medications cited in reports include Xanax, Vicodin, Oxycodone, Ritalin and Adderall. The abuse of these medications is called RX/OTC (over the counter) abuse. There are a lot of slangs for these medications, but these are some of the more common ones. Xanax Xanadu, Vicodin Vickys, Percocet Perched, OxyCodone Oxys, Oxy-moron, Ritalin Rita, Adderall Adde or Adams family Another word to listen for is Robo-Tripping. This is a Robitussin high derived from abusing Robitussin cough and cold medicine.
