What are some similarities and differences between Hinduism and Buddhism?
there are many differences between hinduism and buddhism.
1. it did not grow out of hinduism (or more correctly Vedic dharma), it is clear bcos buddha rejected many of the theoris in hinduism
2. Lord buddha rejected the idea of creator god.
3.The thory of karma are different in the two religions eventhogh same words are used at times.
4.Buddhists beleive in aftr life, every living being will be born again unless he/she has realized ultimate truth. However it is not reincarnation but it would be more correct to say re birth discussed in buddhism.
