What are some signs of verbal/emotional abuse?
Well anything to make you feel degraded or less then a person. Most people who do abuse verbally make it so that they are always superior to the other person and it gets to a point where the other person feels like they are nothing and feels the need to stay with the abuser cause they get to thinking they can’t do better and start believing what they say. Most of the time verbal abuse is used as a tool for someone to try to control the other person. There are tons of things they say from “You are worthless and no one will ever have you except me and i only put up with you because i love you” They sometimes use that as a way to make you think they love you and so that helps them to control you. But verbal abuse can often time turn violent specially when the abused starts to fight back. Most abusers do it to make the other person submissive. In the end it can do a lot of emotional damage that can take years to get right and most times it is never the same as it was before the abuse.
