Something as simple as a flu could have similar symptoms of leukemia. The symptoms range from fatigue (such as is present in mono) to fever and infection (such as a flu) to headaches, which can be caused by stress, sickness, dehydration, among other things. If she is really concerned, she should see a doctor, particularly if she has been bruising extremely easily, has abnormal bleeding, has had severe weight loss for no reason, or does not start to feel better within a couple weeks.
