What are some Science Fair Project ideas for a 2nd Grader?
When I taught 2nd grade, we had an ant farm every year as a science project (principal’s mandate). That’s definitely grade level. Something more interesting is making root beer. You can get a kit through any science supply website. You just need the kit, water, about 4-5 plastic 2-liter bottles, and about 4-6 weeks to leave the bottles alone in a warm, dark place. Presto, a fermentation project your kid can enjoy!
