Actually, Mary Wollstonecraft wasn’t really a poet. She was more of a political essayist. She was one of the first feminists, and is widely regarded as a visionary for her time. Her daughter, however, Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley (the author of “Frankenstein”) did write some poetry. This is not surprising, due to the fact that she was married to reknowned poet Percy Bysshe Shelley, and vacationed in Switzerland with Lord Byron. Anyway, Mary Shelley mostly left the poetry-writing up to her husband and more eloquent friends. She was primarily a novelist. This was the only poem by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley that I could find.
