What are some pros and cons of these dog breeds, American Eskimo Toy, Italian Greyhound, and Dachshund?
Dachshunds are hillarious. They are extremely durable, they love to cuddle, and are extremely intelligent. They are courageous, make excellent watch dogs, and the short hair variety are good on allergies. They love to go hiking, and run around in the woods. They have an excellent nose, and it’s fun to watch them track. They form strong bonds with the family, and I have noticed tend to prefer children to adults. There are two types. Standard and miniature. Do not be deceived. There is not clear classification between the two. It simply depends on how much the dog weighs. If it is over fifteen pounds it is standard. Dachshunds are harder to train because of their naturally stubborn nature, but they are not dumb. They will try to be boss if you spoil them. They hate going outside to potty in inclimate weather, and have a tendency to be hard to potty train. They are prone to skin problems, but I’ve found Brewer’s Yeast along with a good quality dog food will prevent this problem. They love
