What are some projects or examples of uses of the WiSH drivers?
Wow, this is a broad question. Before I put out some examples, let me just say that I wrote the drivers to provide as much flexibility as possible so the limits to the projects are only your budget and imagination. Garage Door alarm and night light: Get an X10 Chime module (SmartHome Item 2045), an X10 IOLinc 4-termina two way sensor (SmartHome Item 1624), garage door sensors (SmartHome Item 7456), and a LampLinc Module (SmartHome Item 2000S). The garage door sensor model 7456 has both NO and NC wires. Connect the NO wires to the IOLinc terminals and mount the sensor on the wall with the magnet on the garage door. When the door is closed the light on the IOLinc will be off. When the door is open, the light will turn on. Program the IOLinc to send its signal on a housecode (I use G for garage) and a unit (such as 10). Now, set the computer up to use x10watch to listen for G10 to change state.
