What are some plants that will grow in brackish water?
Plants such as java fern, java moss and all types of vallisneria will do well in brackish conditions. The only problem is that alot of fish, such as monos, scats, mollies, guppies, green chromides and some puffers will mortally wound most plants upon placing them in your tanks. Scats are by far the biggest offenders, they aren’t supposed to eat java fern as the taste is apparently to harsh for them. This is not true, they’ll eat whatever plants you have quicker than you can blink.
