What are some physiological adaptations of a snow leopard?
Broad furry feet = distributes weight and easier to walk on snow to stop sinking and for traction. Coat = cryptic colouration (camouflage). Double layer of fur to keep warm. Large lungs to body ratio = to breathe at the high altitude. Long tail = for balance and wraps it round itself to keep warm. Long back legs for balance. Enlarged nasal cavity which warms the air before entering the lungs = easier oxygen diffusion.
