What are some personal qualities of an oncology nurse?
Oncology nursing is unique and requires an individual who is comfortable with death. They are usually very caring, self motivated, and intelligent. Meaning able to analyze patient’s symptoms to recognize complications that need immediate intervention. They also need to have social skills in order to assist the patient and family through difficult times.
