Symptoms can include: • Waking up with a headache. • Feeling sleepy during the day, falling asleep at inappropriate times (sometimes dangerously, at work or at the controls of machinery or whilst driving a car) • Depression , Irritability/short temper • Experiencing difficulty in concentration/poor memory • Waking up tired, despite a full/normal night of attempted sleeping. • High Blood pressure. • Higher risk of heart attack and stroke • “Nocturia” a condition that causes numerous night trips to the toilet with little urination. • Weight gain due to fatigue with lack of energy to be active or to exercise.
