What are some other reasons to re-key locks?
Locks should be re-keyed when a tenant moves out, a key is lost or stolen, your purse is stolen or new construction is completed and you don’t know who on the construction crew may still have a key. Or anytime you feel that your security may be threatened because someone you don’t want to may have a key. If you have all your locks keyed alike (that is they all use the same key) and you replace one with a new lock you may want to have the new lock re-keyed to the others.
