In addition to the above six health care professions, there are many other health care related professions. Some of these include pharmacist, physician’s assistant, medical technologist, physical therapist, respiratory therapist, occupational therapist, and cytotechnologist. These health care professionals are part of a total health care team, acting in many different capacities to help people prevent disease and attain good health.
