What are some of the things I can do at the Ohio Renaissance Festival?
There’s plenty more merriment in store. In honor of the festival’s 20th anniversary, put these 20 things on your to-do list. 1. Dress the part. If you’re just going for fun, wear a peasant blouse or corset with a long skirt, a puffy shirt with vest, and high boots or slippers. Swig beer or ale from a stein. 4. Watch the Mudde Show, which features versions of “Beowulf,” Dante’s “Inferno” and the Viking Show in and around a pit of mud in the Olympic-sized Muditorium. The mud serves as a stage, a prop and various metaphors (use your imagination). 5. Cheer on your favorite soldier and steed at one of the Knights of Valor’s thrice-daily tournament jousts.
