What are some of the symptoms of TB disease?
• People with latent TB infection do not have symptoms of TB and cannot spread TB to others. On the other hand, people with active TB disease often exhibit symptoms and can spread TB. These symptoms may include: • A bad cough that lasts longer than two weeks; • Chest pain; • Coughing up blood or sputum; • Weakness or fatigue; • Weight loss; • No appetite; • Chills; • Fever; or • Sweating at night.
