Vicks Formula 44 Custom Care Sore Throat Spray is an over-the-counter (OTC) medication indicated for the treatment of painful symptoms associated with sore throat. This medication is orally administered (spray) to the affected area, remains in place for approximately 15 seconds and is then spit out. This medication can be administered every 2 hours to children between the ages of 3 and 12 (2 or 3 sprays) and patients over the age of 12 (4 or 5 sprays). Side effects of this medication are limited but should be discussed with your doctor if they occur.
