What are some of the safety precautions the police use when searching people for drugs?
first off, police put their life on the line everyday for us despite the fact some of them don’t have the most pleasing interaction tools. they are very much and sometimes even more careful than the military, so I’m sure they observe the situation before hand, call for back-up, secure the situation, detain whoever is involved, stop and think, call a K-9 unit, always aware of weapons, suspects profile (gangs), (needles are a weapon! AIDS, HEPATITUS) etc… also, I’m sure they have a protocol they go through and belive me, criminals will use the law’s actions to commit crimes in the future so I’m sure they try to keep publicizing their actions to a minimum.
