What are some of the rules at Lake Powell?
If you take normal precautions and reasonable care, you’ll have a safe and memorable vacation. Remember, you’re on the water so life jackets are important, especially for little ones (children under 12 must wear their life jackets at all times if on a boat or the exterior of a houseboat). Cliff jumping and cliff diving is prohibited within the boundaries of Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, including Lake Powell and its tributaries. Remember, you are in a national park area, protect and preserve this place for future generations to enjoy!
