What are some of the reasons why people donate expired canned food to charity?
to feed the hungry , because dated tin food does not all ways mean it is bad to eat and Charity’s know what is perishable , and how long they can go over the use by date,and health department would not allow them to do so if it was a danger, we waste so much food because to protect the people who use to keep tins for years and years now by dating we now have an idea how long milk is a good for , from when you buy it you get about 5- 6 days also would you keep a tin food and eat it if it was 2 years old don’t think so, it’s to protect the few not the many
