What are some of the personality traits of the Shadow Wolf?
Extremely loyal, even-tempered, and noble, but very distrustful of humans. Clannish, the Shadow Wolves take exception to mixed human/Shadow Wolf individuals and normally do not open their secret society to such persons. A Shadow Wolf choosing a full human lover to marry is generally banished from the pack, albeit will receive pack protection, but will no longer be privy to clan activities (with the human none the wiser.) These beings are highly territorial in nature. [NOTE: Shadow Wolves are extremely loving, sensual creatures, and have an erotic ritual called shadow dancing, whereby their actual bodies do not touch but their moving shadows do in an extended form of foreplay. Lovemaking between a bonded pair can last hours into days.
