What are some of the most important misconceptions people today have about the Druids, that people should know about?
To answer this question would require a rather lengthy essay as the word druid can mean different things to different people, (as can the words druidism and druidry.) Celtic Revivalists recognize druids as a distinct caste ie not everyone is a druid. As well, Celtic Revivalists tend not to call thier religious practices druidry or druidism. The nature of the misconceptions will largely depend upon what paradigm of druid experience one uses to frame thier experience.
