What are some of the most important international affairs the Obama administration must address?
One international affair would be the war in Afghanistan. Another would be what to do with Iran. Both are issues pertaining to the Western war on Islamofascism, they are inter-related, and they are “make or break” issues. In Afghan, we’re in need of more allied support, there has been an American and NATO request for more assistance. The Afghans have not had a stable gov’t for decades, are involved in heavy opium trade, the whole region is unstable and the extremists have a foothold in Pakistan who has a moderate gov’t that has nuclear capability with a large extremist populace, with Indian-Pakistan relations flaring. It is imperative to get a grasp on that situation.
