What are some of the medications that may cause diarrhea?
Diarrhea is a fairly common side effect of many antiretroviral medications: ddI (Videx), lopinavir (Kaletra), nelfinavir (Viracept), ritonavir (Norvir), and saquinavir (Invirase and Fortovase) are the most likely to cause diarrhea, but many other medications may as well, including abacavir (Ziagen), acyclovir (Zovirax), amprenavir (Agenerase), azithromycin (Zithromax), Combivir, d4T (Zerit), 3TC, TMP/SMX (Septra), and Trizivir.
