What are some of the major differences in Unwritten Laws live sound with its new lineup?
RB: It doesn’t really feel like that much of a new lineup to me. I don’t want to get too much into the whole [former drummer] Wade [Youman] thing, but things have worked really well since his departure. We’ve been playing with this guy Tony Palermo. We’ve all known Tony from back in the day when he played with Ten Foot Pole and he was currently playing with this band Pulley and somebody recommended him and he came to practice and he’s been a real good fit for us. He plays good and he hits really hard. He’s got a really good meter. It’s a real pleasure to be around him and have all of us jamming together. It’s really cool, it’s worked out really well for us. R: What was it like working with No Doubt drummer Adrian Young on the new album, Here’s To The Mourning?
