What are some of the issues around confidentiality when working with DFCI?
As an academic institution, we request that companies limit the confidential information that is provided to that which is reasonably necessary to conduct the research being considered. With respect to publications, companies involved in a sponsored research or collaborative relationship can review manuscripts before they are submitted to see if there are patents that need to be filed or to delete any of their own confidential information that had been provided to the DFCI investigator.
