What are some of the funniest, most blatant insults youve ever received?
Here’s what she said about me when she met me (note: I’m an Irish Catholic girl, and look the part, while my husband is Jewish): “She’s nice, if you like tall blond goyim” She also said about my twins (names changed, but you get the idea): “Bob’s so cute, and Andy looks just like you” Um, thanks? Is that an insult for both me and one of my children?? More zingers from the queen: “You’d look pretty if you wore more makeup” Then, she took me for a makeover, even though she knows that I don’t like to wear a lot of makeup. “You don’t look as heavy as you used to” (I’m not overweight, I’m just not petite like she is) “I feel so bad you have to breastfeed. If you went back to work, you could afford formula” Most of her compliments are really backhanded insults. I’m still not sure, as I get to know her better, I’m pretty sure she doesn’t actually mean to be insulting, which makes it even more funny!
