What are some of the duties of the Deaconesses?
• Assist the pastor in serving the Lord’s Supper • Assist in baptismal service. • Seek to exemplify spiritual and practical examples of womanhood. • Display leadership in spiritual, participatory and financial support of the church. • Visit the sick. • Look out for the welfare and needs of the Pastor and members. • Attend leadership, discipleship and prayer training and activities. • Carry out duties that may be assigned by the Pastor.
