What are some of the distinguishing features of the Creative Writing PhD Programme at The University of Manchester?
The Creative Writing PhD Programme is housed within the Centre for New Writing, which hosts the distinguished Literature Live series of events and, from 2008, a full Summer School. PhD students will be able to attend seminars given by Martin Amis, the University of Manchester Professor of Writing. They will also be able to take advantage of regular visits from publishers and literary agents and will have opportunities to talk to and work with the Centre’s Writers in Residence.
