geologist – studies the structure of the earth and knows about the age and the formation of different types of rocks astronomer- studies the cosmos, probably knows how to design a telescope and knows how to detect planets round other stars biologist – studies living things microbiologist – studies bacteria, viruses and fungi. Can give advice on how to treat infections pharmacologist – studies the effects of chemicals on living systems and are involved in the discovery of new medicines astrophysicist – studies the way the universe was formed That is a random selection of a few i can think of.
