What are some of the characteristics of candidacy for the AquaFlow procedure?
The following open-angle glaucoma patients would be excellent candidates for NPDS with the AquaFlow collagen glaucoma implant: • Patients whose glaucoma was uncontrolled on maximum medical therapy • Non-compliant patients on their current treatment regimen • Patients wanting to reduce or eliminate the use of eye drops • Young glaucoma patients not desiring a lifetime of eye drop use • Patients with a trabeculectomy in the fellow eye
