Two Arnold Palmer courses, The Palms Golf Club and The oasis Golf Club established Mesquite as a golf destination in the early 1990s. These two courses are the originals and are still very popular with locals and visitors. A newer course that has created quite a stir itself is Wolf Creek at Paradise Canyon. Another of the new breed of courses in and around Las Vegas, Wolf Creek is second to none when it comes to conditions. It opened in 2000 to rave reviews and every hole is original and breathtaking. On the second hole, the tee box is 11 stories above the fairway. This is the type of design that defines Wolf Creek.
