One of the most delicious and entertaining festivals of the year is happening this weekend, June 27 and 28, in Bellevue: The Strawberry Festival! Lots of fun will be happening, and as you might expect, lots of strawberry treats, too. The free event takes place at Crossroads Park in Bellevue, which is located just east of Crossroads Mall at the corner of 164th Ave and NE 8th. The family fun area promises to have plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy. There will be bouncy houses, carnival games and prizes, clowns, music, face painting, and so much more. There’s even a strawberry shortcake eating contest! In addition there will be vendors on hand to purchase local crafts and foods from. The Eastside Heritage Museum is bringing an exhibit about agriculture so you can see how they used to farm on the Eastside nearly 100 years ago!
