What are some of the activities that Marin’s SEIU members no longer have access to?
Here is a list of complaints that members have expressed: – The office was closed. – Support staff is no longer cognizant of local issues. – Steward & member training is no longer available in the county. – We no longer have an independent political action committee with local control. – There is no local community political education program. – We lost our sign on the freeway. – SEIU1021 has been unable to produce the legally required “Hudson Reports”. – We did not endorse or support a member running for political office. – We have not made a political contribution to the BOS for three years. – Our participation in community activities has declined. – Staff and stewards are unable to get membership lists. – Staff has been poorly treated. – There has been a high turnover of staff.
