What are some non toxic woods for budgies?
I found the site I couldn’t remember before- it has a good list of safe and unsafe plants and trees. http://www.parrot-and-conure-world.com/n… In general, any wood that is safe for “parrots” will be safe for your budgie! I would go with Aspen or Eucalyptus if you can find them. Just make sure any woods you buy have not been treated with pesticides! Also, you can by nestboxes online and at your local pet stores. (The ones I have purchased are NOT chipboard!! They are untreated plywood!) Or, your budgies might appreciate a large log of balsa or another very soft wood that they can burrow out a hollow in to make their own nest!
