What are some nice, summery wedding colors?
Either you can say forget what your fiancee says beucase the wedding is really for the bride or comprimise you know for your mans feelings, then either have the dresses made in the colors you like or choose a new color combo, I personally like lilac and vanilla or mint green (pastel) and eggshell or cream
I don’t like chocolate and strawberry – way too icecreamy! For our July wedding, we had pink, lilac, yellow, and light teal. Now I didn’t have my colours chosen til we went looking for bridesmaids’ dresses. The girls fell in love with these pretty summery dresses which were an embossed white fabric, with little flowers of all the aforementioned colours, kind of done as though they were painted with watercolours, on them. So then, from there – those were our colours. I had four attendants, so each girl had a colour – for example, the ‘lilac’ bridesmaid had a wreath of lilac coloured flowers in her hair, and lilac ribbons trailing from her bouquet. Her corresponding groomsman (all wore light grey tuxes) had a lilac tie and cummerbund. All in all, it looked lovely, summery and colourful! Made all the other decorating lots of fun, as well. Last summer I was at a wedding where the three attendants wore different colours – mauve, pink, and yellow. It looked lovely. Hope this gives you some i
I was married in August and I used different shades of pinks and yellows. My bridesmaids dresses were solid light pink and then they all held bouquets of bright and light pink flowers that really made everything pop. My husbands groomsmen all wore yellow vests under their tuxes w/ a brighter yellow flowered crosauge. Also my flowers ended up being cheaper b/c I just used a mix of all different kinds and colors of pink and yellow flowers. I really liked using the different shades of colors and found it was really easy to decorate with. Good luck to you!
