The beaches in Connecticut are disappointing! We came here thinking the coast of New England was sandy and pristine, soon but realised that it was littered with seaweed, broken shells and brown water. Connecticut is very attractive in many instances but beache are not one of the strong selling points. We are off to the City of Palms soon, cannot wait to experience daily a more relaxed (and friendly) America!
