What are some meat and dairy substitutes that are vegan friendly?
Dairy would be “Tofutti” for cream cheese and sour cream substitutes. “So Delicious” if your looking for a good soy ice cream that tastes every bit as good as the ‘real’ thing. “Earth Balance” is a vegan ‘butter/margarine’ alternative. Meat substitutes – TONS of them. Everything from TVP to the many companies that are out there that are making the substitutes that substitute for chicken, fish, and beef – and there are MANY companies out there. They have everything out there from ground meat substitutes to hot dogs to – well name it and it is more than likely out there – even bbq ribs (that aren’t really ribs) ! Personally on the meat choices – I prefer many of the ‘Gardenburger’ brand – but that is just a personal choice – you may find something else that you like better.
