As a trainee BDM don’t hesitate to ask as many questions as possible. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and accept it takes time to understand. As a Business Development Manager or Director you should be able to communicate across the company and on every level. In general to succeed in these roles you need the ability to work with cross functional teams and with functional reporting line which is stronger that direct reporting.
