What are some heat-resistant plants that will survive Georgia weather in a cement planter?
Any plant you choose will still require regular watering. Cement planters in the sun suck moisture from the soil very quickly. This is good when you have rock garden plants and others that require good drainage. As for plants, I would try ornamental grasses and small leaf herbs, though larger leaf herbs like mint (esp. salvias) should do well. If you want some color, try the drought resistant daisey cultivars.
