What are some great inexpensive date ideas for outdoors?
Wandering around the farmer’s market is always free, and can be romantic as you stop to smell flowers and eat cheese samples. Picnic’s on the grass with homemade sandwiches and a bottle of wine. Many places have outdoor Shakespeare plays, (they’re called Shakespeare in the Park here) and tickets are usually under $10. Look up all your local parks, they often have free festivals and events in the summertime. Here in Minneapolis they even play movies at the park every night, you bring blankets to sit on the grass and it’s entirely free. Consider zoos, sculpture parks, botanical gardens, pretty lakes or rivers with benches where you can sit and talk. Rollerblading, biking, jogging, tossing a frisbee around. Anything can be romantic and inexpensive if you just enjoy each others company.
