What are some good websites for learning techniques to use in Altered Books?
i have a good book that gives methods for altered art and Altered books. it has a lot of neat advice and techniques using household products in your altered art, including bleach, paints, and such. I highly recommend it as you don’t have to keep jumping on to the computer to get info. another good book that has some good techniques that would be helpful (and also just to use for creativity spurring purposes ) is the Big Ass Book of Crafts this is a really BIG book (the author didn’t exaggerate in his title!) and has super cool crafts and good instructions for just about everything. Useful in making altered books. Basically there aren’t too many rules in altered books, so you can use alot of info that is not directly directed towards this type of media. happy crafting!
